Just an update:
I'm currently applying for a Small Business Grant, in conjunction with my Father's company El Poco Inc., for conducting the three experiments I outlined in the project summary. I'm hoping for the best. I am increasingly convinced that with the latest developments in Bionics and Neurology, the therapeutic approach outlined in the summary of our project is going to be the future for music therapy (or strategic sound engineering entrainement).
With these new strategies we can hopefully facilitate a faster adaptation, on the part of the patient, to the bionic limb. This is something that I have not even found a precedence for but that I am convinced will be an extremely useful tool, especially for the wounded veterans. This project, after all, in keeping with Dr. Anand's vision, was to make a contribution to the many wounded warrior programs.
